Visitor Card Services

Departments are allowed to sponsor and/or hire non-directly affiliated (not paid or not paid by Kennesaw State University) personnel for up to one year in duration. Sponsors will need to complete a Select a Parking Option (Long-Term Visitors Only) form for each long-term visitor (see below). This form allows the sponsor to identify which campus services the visitor will need, while doing his/her business at KSU (campus services include: ID Card, Email, NetID, Keycard for Building Access, Room Keys, Parking Preference).

  • Reserved parking incurs a $23 monthly fee, by clicking the link below you are agreeing to setup either a reccuring monthly payment or to pay the monthly equivalent to your tenure at KSU in full, upfont.
Economy parking is available to long-term visitors in a limited capacity. Economy parking incurs a $10 monthly fee, by clicking the link below you are agreeing to setup either a recurring monthly payment or to pay the monthly equivalent to your tenure at KSU in full, upfront.

Please stop by the Talon One Service Center at the Kennesaw or Marietta Campuses to obtain an assigned parking pass.

  • The university recognizes that there may be occasions when Network Identification (i.e. NetID, part of KSU’s Identity Management System) is required to access electronic services on campus when the individuals or groups needing such access have no permanent or long-term affiliation with the university. The NetID account at Kennesaw State University provides secure access to Web Services like Email, WebCT, Lab Resources, Library Services, and Desktop Login. Setup of a NetID account is a pre-requisite to consideration for any Web Service but does not grant access to any service. NetID’s will be provided on a case-by-case basis for these individuals or groups with no fee assessed; however, these individuals or groups must be sponsored by a full-time KSU employee and the sponsorship supported by that employee’s Department Head. Further, it must be recognized that there may be charges incurred based on access to specific web services or applications.

  • A NetID for an individual must be requested on a Service Request form for Long-Term Visitors. For sponsored groups, a NetID Request form for Sponsored Groups must be completed.

When the form has been filled out, please submit it to Human Resources via Ricoh Scan Folder "#LTV" or in person.

    >> Download the NetID Request Form for Sponsored Groups Form (PDF)

For authentication purposes, the date of birth (DOB) and last four digits of social security number (SSN) will be required for each person needing NetIDs.

Visitor Parking Citations and Appeals

  • The registered vehicle owner is ultimately responsible for a parking citation (including lost, stolen or damaged citations) whether or not the owner was operating the vehicle at the time the citation was issued.

Citations must be paid via cash or check at the Bursar's Office within 14 days of the issuance of the citation. Fines not paid or appealed within 14 days will result in a HOLD placed on a student account, or a possible wage garnishment for KSU employees.

  • All visitor appeals must be submitted through our Visitor Citation Appeal Form within 14 days of citation issuance. Appeals made by email, phone, or in person will not be accepted. If a citation is appealed within 14 days, any associated fines will be frozen until the appeal is adjudicated. Fines will not come due during this period of review. Citations older than 14 days cannot be appealed.

Appeal Approved: The associated citation will be voided and any associated fines will be reduced to $0.

Appeal Denied: The associated citation stands, and the initial fine remains the responsibility of the registered vehicle owner.
